Interior Photo Workshops are designed to teach lighting techniques for photographing residential interiors. They are specifically geared towards photographers who shoot for Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Real Estate, and other disciplines requiring crisp, clear images of interior spaces. The curriculum focuses on lighting techniques using inexpensive, small flashes such as the Nikon SB-800 speedlight.
Instructor Scott Hargis teaches how to use multiple off-camera lights to achieve perfectly balanced photos that combine the exact window exposure you want while retaining a pleasing brightness and accurate color for the interior of a room. There is no reason to live with “blown-out” windows or dim, gloomy interiors!
With proper technique, it is possible to create stunning photographs that show off both the view through a window as well as the natural ambience of the room, without tediously combining multiple exposures or performing extensive post-processing in Photoshop. Scott will show you how to make images quickly and efficiently in the field, that require minimal re-touching.
